Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide Speech-Language Pathology services in a K-12 school setting located in Lexington Park, MD. The position offers flexibility with options for onsite or virtual service delivery, supporting students across a diverse age range. The role requires a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve a caseload primarily composed of elementary students, with some high school students as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Deliver therapy services either onsite or through teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Manage a caseload averaging 48 students, mostly elementary-aged with approximately 12 high school students.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license eligible for practice in Maryland.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in K-12 settings.
- Proficiency in teletherapy tools and techniques is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseload effectively while delivering quality care.
